They offered trump almost all of the money he asked for. They just wanted it to be used on security measures other than the wall. He shut down the government instead of accepting.

I just read an article and now cant find it. Israel was not globally recognized as the as the rightful government of Golan heights because they took it by force. There are two internationally universal policies that do not recognize occupations as legitimate transfers of government. It also sets precedent that others like Russia and North Korea might be able to invade territories and point to this moment as justification. There is a reason no president (from either party) recognized it for 5 decades. Im still trying to track it down.

Barr stated that he will turn in his report to the House next week. I think the House should be able to see the WHOLE report, and not Barrs watered down version.

I have fallen down the rabbit hole in the comments section of Trump's tweet about North Korea. It's freakin hilarious reads.

As of 8 am this morning, not a chirp out of Trump. It could be because Lindsey Graham is with him this weekend in Mar a Lago. Or it could be because Barr has not shared what he has read.

If this report has completely exonerated Trump, and Barr told him, I’m sure he would be holding a press conference by now.
So pay no mind to any news channel that is saying it proves Trump innocent or guilty.
Neither Mueller or Barr has shared what they know.

I agree. We won't know what's in it until we're told. After reading up a bit on Mueller I've come to believe he's a good man, and a true public servant. I'm sure he did his best to get to the truth of things.

Steve King is back. They can take him off of committees, but they can't shut him up.

    "
"Here's what FEMA tells me. We go to a place like New Orleans, and everybody's looking around saying, 'Who's going to help me? Who's going to help me?'" King said, adding that he made four trips to New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
"We go to a place like Iowa, and we go, we go see, knock on the door at, say, I'll make up a name, John's place, and say, 'John, you got water in your basement, we can write you a check, we can help you.' And John will say, 'Well, wait a minute, let me get my boots. It's Joe that needs help. Let's go down to his place and help him,'" King said.
He added that FEMA is "always gratified when they come and see Iowans take care of each other, and so that's a point of pride that spreads across the country everywhere that I know.""

I doubt if he'll get re-elected, people are fed up with him, IMO.

Apparently he chose to ignore all the people who helped their fellow New Orleanians.
He has proven that he can’t see through all the he has spewed.
