Trump made a promise to his base, and he wants to keep it - somewhat.
They will investigate AGAIN. And they will find nothing AGAIN.
Trump will then blame the deep state Republicans.

Graham told trump that he saw the Steele dossier and told Mccain to give it to someone who can investigate it. He confirms that Mccain did not leak it to the press as Graham put it in a safe and turned it in to the FBI the next day. Some of Mccains associates may have used it politically but not Mccain
. So bone spur boy needs to limp to the nearest microphone and apologize to Mccain and his family but...this guy

He had also been sharing information at the state level thats where the latest sentencing on Manafort came from.

Both of Manafort's sentences were on the federal level. One judge was a Reagan appointee and the other an Obama appointee. He has yet to be tried on a state level.

In 2008 McCain's campaign was hacked by the Russians. Russian interference in our elections has been going on for years. The only reason it became an issue this go around is Trump is so disliked.

My bad, ill have to double check where i read that. It may have discussed both state and federal charges in the same article and i bundled them together. But the link i posted did say that charges may be brought up at the state level based on information Muller passed along.

Yes, it has been going on forever. What made the 2016 election different was the advanced level of cyber attacks. That's why people are calling for a return to a paper backup system.

Trump came into it because he said the Russians hadn't done anything. Trump repeatedly disbelieved and flatly contradicted every U.S. intelligence agency's finding that the Russians interfered. Even you know that's a ridiculous position.

And because he stood on a stage and asked Russia to “find” the Clinton emails. Which they attempted to hack her server, the very same night.

Both he and Clinton were briefed on the interference as candidates. Trump publicly stated afterward that he thought Putin was a good man, and didn’t think they did it.

He hasn’t been charged yet by NY or Florida. But NY is waiting to see if he gets a pardon

    Caroline Orr‏ @RVAwonk

#BREAKING: Citing "national security concerns," Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell just blocked a non-binding resolution to make special counsel Mueller's full report publicly available.

    3:06 PM - 25 Mar 2019

    Caroline Orr‏ @RVAwonk

The non-binding resolution to release the full Mueller report was brought forth by Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY). The House version passed unanimously. Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham are the only senators who objected to the measure.
