    Never watched that show, but I'm confident that is not the best vampire ever!

    My favorite vampire movies might be Romero's Martin and Vampire's Kiss, two films in which it's very doubtful there actually is a vampire. So as to best vampire ever... I think I'd go with Willem Dafoe in Shadow of the Vampire.

    People who haven't seen the classic vampire movies should be aware that their opinion is not valid!

    Go watch Nosferatu (both of them), and Daughters of Darkness, even Let the Right One In, and never talk to me again about TV-Vampires!!!

    And FYI, TWD is not close to being anything best-zombieish on any level either! :)

    My opinion is valid because it is exactly that.....MY opinion. Now whether YOU give credence to my opinion is of your own choosing.

    And FYI I have seen Nosferatu and Let the Right One In, both the Swedish and American versions.

    As to zombie movies - You can keep your Romero fan boy shite, holds no fascination for me. Zombies in general hold no fascination for me. Plain and simple I enjoy TWD and the zombies have very little to do with why I enjoy the show.

    I'm not saying I don't enjoy the show, just that there's more layered stuff out there. TV shows are limited by too many factors. But yeah, Romero's first films were something else, and the zombies have really nothing to do with it either.

    Disagree with me all day. But do not chastise me

    My work day is winding to a close and my drive home awaits me. Perfect timing. I like you too much to get in a heated debate over such silliness

    @NakedCity all evening since our last round of posts my words have not been sitting well with me. When I read your post, specifically the bit about my opinion not being valid I took it very personally. My knee jerk reaction was that you were being quite aggressive. As I drove home and now into the evening hours and thinking about it I keep circling back to this thought - that at the end of the day when all is said and done that you would not intentionally be aggressive toward me nor would you intentionally treat me with malice.

    I allowed my knee jerk reaction to override my ability to see that forest for the trees that I referred to earlier. You and I had been going back and forth with one another throughout the day, all in sarcastic laced fun as we often do with one another. I try to live by the motto that words have meaning and my words have been sitting heavy with me all evening. I cannot, albeit playful, post gifs and make statements of you being wrong and then turn around and not be willing to accept the same in return. My sincerest apologies in hopes that you will accept them.

    EDIT: I still think Cassidy is the best vampire!
