So aside from Jesus dying, everything has been knew to me. Which is refreshing.

I did however skim through some spoilers in the pictures/updates thread in anticipation for episode 9.

Looks like we'll see Lydia pretty soon (9x09?). Alpha visits Hilltop (9x11?). Hostages are traded. Henry becomes comic Carl as expected by everyone. Daryl goes on a cool rescue mission for Henry...

A lot of these points don't feel like spoilers since they're somewhat easy to see coming if you have read the comic.

A whisperer leaving a baby and Connie saving said baby as a small heard rolls up to Hilltop has my attention. Apparently Alpha might be-head some other whisperer that committed a transgression? IDK..I read quickly through that part because I was nervous I'd read about another Jesus-esque level spoiler...

All in all, what I take away from this is that my suspicions are confirmed regarding pacing... We probably won't get the heads on pikes until 9x16 and then we won't wrap up the whisperer arc until 10x08 at the earliest. Beta's death might get dragged out to 10x12 while the Commonwealth/Georgie arc is getting set-up still.

Assuming the quality of the show keeps up, then I guess I don't mind them dragging this out. It's would be kind of funny if The Whisperer War was a very strong, well done arc on the show given how most people want to kinda skip over it and All Out War was the arc we all wanted to be great, but ended up mediocre.
