Anyone else know why those four walkers completely bypassed Michonne?

I kind of figured that but thought I would ask. Why don't they always just get stinky when they go in public? No access to showers I guess.

Yeah back in the episode "Guts", Rick..Glenn did this and made it by some walkers. However, they were WAY more covered!

Yeah, it's the whole "smell" thing again. I find that aspect of the walkers to be silly, but so it is...

^ what he said...if the Zombies are slowly decomposing then you would think that their senses are also going the way or their mobility as well. They can't walk very well, bu they have a Heightened sense of smell? Yea really ? here's another example of a discrepancy .but it doesn't bother me..too much, but they do need to keep that to a bare minimum. If the writers start getting sloppy the show will suffer, with this being a multi-year/season show all these inconsistencies will start adding up.

I also think it's silly. I would have preferred if the zombies were racist and simply disliked dark meat, but that is just me. :p

no, she never covered herself up in walkerjuice
why do some people assume the characters know everything about the ZA world?
you can see she is surprised, she learned a new trick. case closed

I don't see why the zombie scent thing is such a deal-breaker for so many. Hunters do that all the time but choose much worse scents to cover themselves in. I'm shocked Merle and Daryl didn't use that trick to get by the walkers.

yeah me too.. is that 'smell' or poor sight? you know.. maybe they see her covered in blood and.. think she's rotten like them too? I don't know.. I just don't get the whole idea of the fresh body's smell :zombies_nosmile:

    this.

smelling funny or not they obviously should get some blood on their clothes every time they leave for supplies. even if they don't have showers is it really worth risking your life?

If I remember correctly, Rick and Glen still were chased, it just delayed the zombie reaction... And they were covered with decaying flesh. Several characters have been in "fights" and covered with zombie parts, and other zombies keep coming??? Michonne was not covered with pieces, and she was arm to arm with an entire group of zombies??? I thought it was very odd too!

I somewhat assume it is less about the smell of the zombie entrails/blood and more of it providing a mask to their human smell.
