Problem is, he lied about many other things while under oath, such as the meaning of terms like “devil’s triangle.” It’s the lying under oath that makes him unsuitable for the Supreme Court. Oh yeah, and also the attempted rape.

And I agree with your sentiments about both Trump and Kavanaugh. Making fun of a an alleged attempted rape victim crosses many lines. I also don’t believe Hardwick bears much resemblance to Kavanaugh in his demeanour. I could be wrong, but Kavanaugh seems guilty as sin.

Maybe not quite mentally challenged enough. I was expecting someone else for the job.

It's not yours to evaluate how guilty he seems, just like it wasn't yours to say Dykstra seemed like a liar. In both cases, there's only one valid moral stand: to listen to the victims, and give credibility to their claims. If that means putting a TV anchor on ice for a few months or having to push a judge's nomination back a few months, so be it. In both cases, the alternative is too gloomy.

Crap! You called my bluff. Now what am I supposed to do? Just sit here and read Biffster's replies? I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

I just gave you the lovey dovey rating. Does that make up for my mean comment? You know... the comment that you called "nice"?

That confuses me. What type of mind games are you playing anyway?

You flatter yourself, I don't think you've been trying at all. If you'd tried even a quarter of the way then I'd expect at least a quarter-hearted attempt to respond to the points in the first quarter.

You flatter yourself more when you imagine your argument-free and insult-heavy posts sway anyone, let alone convince anyone but yourself.

When people have nothing but insults in response to arguments, we can hold as a general rule that the insults they choose reflect more about themselves than they do the object of the insult. Hence my joke about your narcissism...which you clearly can't process as a joke. Due to narcissism:

Yes, I do. Is there anything else you need repeated to aid your understanding?

Ah, grammar trouble. If I had wanted that text specific text repeated, I would have surrounded it with quotation marks. If English is your second language, don't be discouraged! It takes until the 5th or 6th grade in school before we cover things like that, and no one would expect someone learning English as a second language to understand details like that.

The other detail being that since that text was NOT put in quotation marks, it implies I actually wanted those posts repeated. If you really meant to be helpful, you could repost them.

an edit for the pedants out there, of which I can sometimes be one ;) this would be in American English, I believe the Brits use apostrophes instead of quotation marks.

Great! I have a meeting with a client in 30 minutes and I'm probably going to blow that off because I'm dying to know what was said in posts #32, #115, # 409, #1183, and #2016

    GODDAMN YOU, TWDF!!!!

Not to be a spoiler, but they were just random numbers. LOL, I did wonder if I looked at them if there would be some unifying theme, but am too lazy to look.

You know what the neat thing is? The more meetings and things you blow off, the more likely you are to have more free time in the future. It's win-win.
