Wow, they're really dragging this show out now

Don't get me wrong. I love the show, but I have to admit the last three episodes have lacked bite.

Okay, the Tyreese thing was a shock, but even that was dragged out with the hallucinations and stuff.

Last night's episode was just like the one before that. Nothing memorable.

If the walking dead is too slow for you, you should check out [IMG]

They would have wrapped woodbury, terminus, and the hospital arcs into about 2 episodes

The last two episodes have been amazeballs. I don't know what you are expecting from the show?

I liked the tyreese episode. 510 was a little bit slow, yes. But last night's episode was freaking awesome, had awesome action and character moments, and the group discovered a new home. How do people with the correct number of chromosomes actually suggest last nights episode was slow or didn't get us anywhere?

Got to agree with Coyote here, the last three episodes have been brilliant, if anything, I'm slightly annoyed they've trunkated the 600 odd mile journey from Atlanta to Washington into just three episodes!!

I guess I am expecting more action. Some surprises. This last episode could have been 15 minutes long for what happened in it.

Now I am waiting for the next episode...

Still a fan though. Just had to express myself.

I agree with episode 10. But not with episode 11. It was really good and nice action scenes in it.

Story deveploment is the most important thing in any show, this episodes deveploed story, unlike two previous episodes.

Once in awhile you'll hear someone complain that this show is 'too slow'. Immediately, that makes me realize that they don't understand the show.

They've spent just over a whole season "on the road and in constant danger". Since the prison, this is the first glimpse of anything that even remotely looks like a safe haven. That's a hell of a marathon the show has put it's characters and viewers through, and I doubt it would have worked if not split over two seasons.

509 bothered me because I thought Tyreese's death was a waste, but it shows what happens when you let your guard down for even a few seconds.

510 was excellent, as was 511 IMO.

Would have been less action if they took road 16 like they were told to.

Maybe that's because there's only 42 minutes of actual show, the rest is all commercials. Even in that 42 minutes you have the opening sequences that take up time and are always the same. Then the end credits so all in all you're probably only getting an actual 40 minutes out of the entire hour of couch time. What a rip, but the fact that I have to watch teh Geico gecko getting ready to tour the Wisconsin for the nteenth time is not the storyline's fault.

Did they? I thought it was determined they would take 23, even tho 16 was "cleared". I guess I just assumed that's what it was.

I thought last night's was better than the first two but they were really hitting us over the head with where was at mentally with Rick's extreme distrust and paranoia contrasted with Michonne's optimism for a need to find a place to settle down. They didn't need to spend a full episode doing that. Better yet, the writers should have been displaying these elements more strongly in the installments leading up to this episode so we wouldn't have to spend a full hour firmly establishing these feelings.
