    he seems to be an editor on quite a few TWD episodes, first time directing anything other than shorts. I don't know if want to sticky this or wait until we get the new forum

    last 4 have Ernest Dickerson, Michael Satrazemis(done some 2nd unit directing), David Goyer, and Michelle MacLaren

    and he always seems to direct big episodes, so we have that for 13 and Goyer in the "something really bad happens" 4-15, and then MacLaren for 16? sounds back-loaded for sure

    Do you think Gimple(Writer) and MacLaren for 16? I kind of feel he would covet having her back for another of his episodes.

    Yes, the Goyer one is very intriguing. We tend to have major events occur on TWD in the next to last episodes of the season. In Season 2 we had Rick killing Shane, and last year we had Merle's sacrifice.

    Anyone who wrote "Judge, Jury, Executioner" is a great writer... it is way underated and a top 5 episode for me.

    It's not in my top 5, but it's nice to see someone who agrees it's underrated. Infected also doesn't get the respect it deserves, was a highlight in the first half of this season for me.

    The second half of Season 4 is feeling like Breaking Bad's final half of Season 5. Most of the episodes will be a bit slow but intriguring. Lot's of build up but the last 3 or 2 are gonna be intense.The penultimate episode sounds like it's worth the wait.
