First Teaser Trailer For Titanfall 2 Is Out
In 2014 publisher Electronic Arts and developer Respawn Entertainment released Titanfall, a mostly multiplayer mech-battling game. Coming out at the dawn of the new console generation, it created a minor sensation, but eventually online activity dwindled and the fanbase died off. EA and other companies learned from the experience and made sure to keep a steady stream of content coming for titles like Destiny.
Today EA released the first teaser for the Titanfall sequel. You won’t see gameplay, you won’t see in-game footage, but you will see a pod, a mech leg, and a giant sword. As the trailer says, the good stuff (like the other leg) is being saved for June 12.
That’s when EA Play begins: Electronic Arts’ press event, held at the same time as E3 yet not officially a part of E3. Expect a lot of Titanfall 2 footage there, as well as some executive walking back and forth on a stage crowing about how great he is. No release date is currently known for Titanfall 2, but it’s rumored to be prepped for a holiday 2016 release.
