Co-Founder of Titanfall Developer Respawn Starts Mobile Studio
Vince Zampella, the co-founder of Titanfall Developer Respawn Entertainment, has announced that he is co-founding a mobile games studio.
Zampella is also the co-founder of Call of Duty studio Infinity Ward. He co-founds a lot of stuff, what can I say? He said his new project will be called Nuclear Division.
According to GameSpot, Zampella said mobile is so big and such a part of everyday life it’s “silly to ignore.”
“It’s a device that I play on because I always have it with me. It’s always connected. You’re engaged with it. There’s something you can do with that. I’m not saying one is better than the other, in terms of console versus mobile. It’s a different gaming experience. Both interest me,” Zampella said.
Zampella will not be leaving Respawn, and will serve in a more advisory role at Nuclear. Nuclear’s first game isn’t expected until 2015.
