Call Of Duty: Ghosts To Get Dedicated Servers
Next month is shaping up to be a big month for the “Call of Duty” franchise as the newest installment in the franchise – “Call of Duty: Ghosts” – is set to release on Microsoft’s Xbox One and Sony’s PlayStation 4 consoles. The impending release has caused fans to become even more excitable than usual with the announcement that the game will be given dedicated servers for not only those two console systems but across all platforms.
“Call of Duty: Ghosts” will be using a hybrid system of dedicated servers and listen servers to enhance online performance – no matter where you are in the game – and there will also be new tech in the matchmaking system that will place players in matches that have the best combined overall connectivity performance. “Call of Duty: Ghosts” will also preserve player-hosted matches.
“Call of Duty: Ghosts” is currently scheduled to launch for PC Windows, Sony PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 5, 2013, for Sony PS4 in North America on November 15, 2013, for Xbox One on November 22, 2013 and for Sony PS4 in Europe on November 29, 2013.
