The very first time Ubisoft partnered with Tom Clancy to produce a stealth action game was back in 2002, when the original Splinter Cell was released for Playstation 2, XBox, PC and Gamecube (those were nice days, when Nintendo got third party support). With a distance of 15 years, it seems like everybody who could have possibly bought that game has already bought it. Might as well give it away.
Ubisoft will let you have Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell on PC for free, as long as you claim your copy within the next 30 days. To do so, you’ll need a free UPlay account — once you have one, go to the Ubi 30 Page and click “Get The Game Now.” Download it and it’s yours. Have fun sneaking around in low-poly worlds.
The giveaway is part of Ubisoft’s 30th anniversary celebration. Last month the company let its customers have Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time for free, and five more classics from the company are on their way before 2016 ends.
