Private Matches Now Possible in Destiny
One of the most requested missing features in Destiny has finally been granted. Bungie announced today that, as of the latest update, private matches are now possible. The update affects PS4, XBox One and PC players.
Announced during the first-ever Destiny Private Match competition hosted by Major League Gaming, and in celebration of the upcoming launch of Destiny: Rise of Iron, the new ‘Private Match’ feature is available now for Destiny owners on current-gen consoles, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The Private Match feature gives Destiny players the keys to the Crucible with the ability to challenge friends and foes alike in 18 competitive modes on almost 30 maps.
And with private matches come all the free-reign customization options players have demanded! You’ll be able to alter the mode, map, time limits, score limits, Light level and time of day.
Private matches were originally announced as part of the upcoming expansion Rise of Iron (which hits a week from now), but Bungie decided to make the feature available for everyone, for free. Isn’t that nice of them?
