Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Reveal Trailer Going Live this Sunday Morning
You’ve waited through tease after tease, through video after video that showed no gameplay content (and that another developer mocked with kittens)….now, finally, the official reveal for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will make its debut this Sunday.
Let’s gather up what we know so far. Black Ops 3 will be set entirely in the future, where bio-enhanced weaponry has transformed the world and changed war and combat as we know it. Thanks to various leaks and slip-ups, we know the game is coming out for XBox One, Playstation 4 and PC. The fact that the Call of Duty website lets you sign in with your Nintendo account might mean it’s even in development for Wii U, though that would be a 180 from Activision’s previous decision to pull support for that console (it would be welcome, though, and hey, Wii U is in more homes now).
Another leak hit this morning: a GameStop flyer that boasted a release date of November 6 and a preorder campaign that will grant early beta access to anyone who pays up front. This would be the first public beta for a Call of Duty game since World of War in 2008. The November 6 date is also in line with Activision’s prior release history for the series.
We will know everything early Sunday morning on April 26, at 10 AM ET.
