Fear The Walking Dead Renewed For Season Four
Have a drink, Madison, you can afford it. The third season of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead hasn’t even aired yet, but that didn’t stop the network from prematurely smacking the RENEW button and securing yet another season. It’s now guaranteed at least four.
AMC seems to have a lot of confidence in FTWD, and there are some figures to back that up. Even though Fear The Walking Dead has never achieved the ratings heights of its bigger brother, it’s consistently brought in better numbers than most of AMC’s current lineup, quality of storylines and characters notwithstanding.
There’s hope for improvement, though. Dave Erickson, showrunner behind the first two seasons, is leaving FTWD behind to work on his own projects. Replacing him will be Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, previous producers of Once Upon A Time. That’s a completely different show than this one, but a fresh take is what we need right now. (If Rumplestiltskin shows up and starts cackling to Madison, though, they’ve had it.)
Fear The Walking Dead returns this June on AMC.
