The Walking Dead Will Lose Another Key Character In Season 3
Who will face the axe? (Or Maybe a Sword or Crossbow?)
We all know death is a regular occurrence in The Walking Dead, with the loss of two main characters last season. Season 3 will be no different on that scale, as another key character will be leaving The Walking Dead this season. However, it is unknown which episode of season 3 this will happen in, or even who it will be. If the TV series sticks to the comic storyline really close this season, then we could be saying goodbye to a character such as Lori. However, AMC has done a lot different things during the past few seasons compared to the comics. Who do you think will be saying goodbye this season?
Michonne in season 3 of The Walking Dead
AMC has announced the arrival of a few new characters, such as The Governor who is an infamous villain in charge of Woodbury, there is Michonne who we saw hooded briefly at the end of last season, and Milton who is one of the residents of Woodbury. Besides these new characters, Merle who is the older brother of Daryl, will be returning in season 3 that has really got some people excited. While we never really know who will be killed off, or who will be safe, we do know that there is always someone that will be on the chopping block. The question remains, who is the character that will be not moving forward to season 4 of The Walking Dead?

As it has been stated above, the comic version is no help here. I know that Lori and her baby die in the comic version, but somehow I just don’t believe that will happen. If you took away the insufferable Lori, you would destroy much of the personal struggles with Rick. Unless Sarah Wayne Callies want to quit the show, I just don’t see it happening. I suspect that Hershel will be the one eliminated.

The fact that it says that another character will be lost, instead of characters, already indicates that seaon 3 is not going to be following the comic version.

I don’t know who will die, but I know who I want to die ie. Lori. I wouldn’t miss Carol, T-Dog(mostly because he never does anything) or Maggie’s sister who’s name I can’t even remember.

Can somebody tell me (who read the comic books) when will Lori and Carl die? Cause to tell you the truth guys if the creators won’t, I’m gonna definitly kill both of them. Cause they are the worst people in the Walking Dead universe. Oh and if Daryl dies… I’m not gonna watch anymore the show. That’s all! Please somebody answer my question.

*Comic spoiler* Lori dies at the end of the prison arc. Carl hasn’t died yet in the comic. Don’t expect Lori to die in the show until probably season 4 as they have said that the prison will cover two seasons or at least 1 season and some of the next season.

I would hope for it to be Lori, since she *comicspoiler* dies in the comic during the prison bit. Buuut, it will probably be someone else for some reason. Just to drive us all insane. I’m sure.

Probably T-Dog. If you watch one of the previews, he is being attacked by a walker. Plus it said in an interview he will be getting ‘more screentime’. Seems plausible.

T-Dog is definitely on the bubble this season. He is the
most under developed character in the series.
The writers intentionally leave out Tyrese and then create the T-Dog
character for no other reason, then to foster racial tension within the
group. This is a terrible reason to
create a character. In my opinion, it
is disrespectful of the source material and also to IronE Singleton, who
happens to be a really good actor.
What is the point of creating a totally original character,
for the series, and then leaving him undeveloped? I think and I don’t mean this
in a racially negative way. He has been relegated to the status of, Token
African American Guy. You know what I mean. The lone man of color, destined to
be offered up as cannon fodder in most horror genre productions. The writers
created him and now they don’t know what to do with him.
We were given more back story about Morgan Jones, in a
single episode during season 1, and then we have given about T-Dog in two full
seasons. It’s hard to like a character you know almost nothing about and in
order for audiences to connect with a character; we have to know something
about them. This is where the writers failed both the character of T-Dog and
IronE Singleton.
I think with Merle’s return, he will be the one to off T-Dog
for leaving him chained on the roof in Atlanta. His return should also bring,
Norman Reedus’ character, Daryl more into the foreground. This would be a
good thing, since he is the most interesting character in the series, IMO.
Lori is totally annoying. I hope with the exit of Shane, the
writers will find a new and more likable direction for the character. She will
probably bite the dust this season though.
Carl just needs to be tied up and gagged, until he figures
out what, “Stay in the house!” actually means.
Sophia’s mom Carol is, the most useless member of the party.
She is a walking, weeping Zombie hor d’oeuvre. I wouldn’t mind seeing her go.
Andrea is slowly transitioning into the character from the
comics. I think she will take those final steps with the help of Michonne.
Glenn is safe I think, he is the groups conscience. I know
eventually he will bite the bullet, but not this season.
Kirkman has stated that Lennie James’ character, Morgan
Jones, will show up in the future. I hope it’s Season 3. James is a great actor
and I believe the Morgan Jones character is much more interesting than most of
the current group. It would be a shame to relegate such a great actor to only a
cameo. Jones and son, providing the son
survives the transition from the book, would make an excellent addition to the
cast. The younger Jones might serve to make Carl a little less annoying. I think this
would give Chandler Riggs a chance to develop as an actor and loose some of his
more annoying traits. Carl needs someone close to his own age and I think Duane
Morgan would be a perfect pal.
So the way I see it, T-Dog, Lori, and Sophia’s Mom are all
open game this season. One or all of them should go ahead and begin bathing in
BBQ sauce, because their days are numbered.

Can anyone tell me how Lori dies in the comic? I’m just curious.
BostonianAdam

In the comic, Lori gets shot in the mid-section by Lilly, someone in the Governor’s group, when they attack the prison. Lori falls while holding the baby and crushes it.

I am hoping Lori & Carl die soon but I think it will be T-Dog since he isn’t in the picture above and he isn’t an important character he is just “there” at times so it wont really matter if he dies.
